The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in From this time forth, and even for evermore.

My son, forget not my law; But let thine heart keep my commandments: For length of days, and long life, And peace, shall they add to thee.

Thou shalt rise up before the hoary head, and honour the face of the old man, and fear thy God: I am the LORD .

The hoary head is a crown of glory, If it be found in the way of righteousness.

Children's children are the crown of old men; And the glory of children are their fathers.

Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord.

Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD : And the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; So are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: They shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.
